You Who Came From the Stars

Entertainment

After watching this week's Running Man, using my most loved kdrama at the moment "You Who Came From the Stars", I just had to blog about this drama. Hehehe!

It's been a long while since I've blogged on korean dramas, and yes I definitely do miss sharing my favorite list of korean dramas with you guys!!

You Who Came From the Stars
aka
My Love From the Stars
별에서 온 그대

Episodes :: 21
Wednesdays & Thursdays
South Korea

.  CASTS  .

Jun Ji Hyun as Chun Song Yi
Kim Hyun Soo as young Chun Song Yi / Seo Yi Hwa
Kim Soo Hyun as Do Min Joon
Park Hae Jin as Lee Hwi Kyung
Jo Seung Hyun as young Lee Hwi Kyung
Yoo In Na as Yoo Se Mi

Synopsis.

Do Min Joon is an alien who came to earth in 1609 and lands in the Joseon era, then lives through the next four hundred years to the present day where he works as university professor and falls in love with a haughty top hallyu actress, Chun Song Yi.

Review.

There are some parts which may get a little weezy bit boring, but I love the scenes and chemistry between the two leads. A boring guy falling in love with a dramatic yet lonely girl and vice versa. Which totally reminds me of someone really familiar (in the sense of being boring. HA!)

It's dreadful to wait every week while you look forward to two new episodes for the week! Especially when it starts to get really interesting and exciting! The waiting time is a killer.

The strolling isn't that bad either, it's pretty fresh though there's still the same triangle love relationship thing going. But what's good about it, is the comedic essence of the show. Really makes me laugh and sometimes i just have the urge to rematch that same scene over and over again just because it cracks me up!

HAVE YOU WATCHED IT YET?

Can't wait for the whole drama to end, before I start re-watching it and swoon over the cuteness and sweetness of this lovely couple!

Well, each of us have our own views about the show.
Share yours with me! ;)

Till then.
xoxo.

Review.

Fashion, design and bags!
In almost every korean drama.. Well practically all of the korean drama there will always be a character you wish you could kill or a character that's just way too over pitiful that gets you so annoyed~

Family, love and betrayal this drama has almost these 3 elements in them. Betrayal to a fellow family and of course, not forgetting falling in love.

What draws me into the show are the design scenes and how Eun Jung Soo has to work her way up the "hard" way. Well, nobody said reaching one's dream is always easy! This story has a certain essence of reality of the world in it which allows audience to relate one way or another.

I wouldn't say it's the best story yet again, but neither is the story that bad either. Well, it's hard to say about the ending since it's still ongoing.. But let's guess shall we? It's definitely gonna be a happy ending for sure! =)

Synopsis.

A ghost romance story about Yang Si Ohn, a woman who is able to see spirits after waking up from a 6-year long coma and Cha Gun Woo, a man who only believes in solid evidence. The two detectives come to understand each other as they try to help the spirits attached to objects at a lost-and-found center rest in peace. But Si Ohn′s dead boyfriend, Lee Hyung Joon will appear as a spirit perfecting the supernatural romance. Hyung Joon was an elite member of the police force, but lost his life following an unfortunate accident. Featuring a love triangle between spirits and humans.

Review.

This drama is somewhat smiliar to "The Master's Sun" with the spirit/ghost seeing portion. Well, at least the ghosts/spirits here aren't as creepy and scary as the ones in "The Master's Sun". But of course, once in awhile those creepy eerie effects still creep me out but it's bearable. =)

I wouldn't say this drama has one of the best compared to the ones i've blogged and posted previously. The story basically revolves around the 3 main lead and their romance adding in some action, suspense scenes. But watching taeyeon, he can be quite a cutie in the drama! Enough to make you smile or sometimes... laugh. There's just a kind of beautiful romance mix with charisma that still manages to draw your attention and interest into the drama.

If you are curious to know what i mean, watch it! =)
It may not make you go totally DAMN, AWSOME SHOW but it's enough to make you go awwwww.. so sweet~

SPOILER ALERT!!

If you follow through the story to the end, it's actually really touching and kinda sad. I teared towards the last 2 episodes cause it's heartbreaking. Having the one you love thinking he's dead but in actual fact he's still alive and not awoken from coma. Only to see him once again but it turns into a goodbye forever. But fred not, it's definitely a drama with a happy ending!

Review.

Loved the story, loved the casts!
A really sweet, cute, light-hearted and warming story I would say. In the beginning, watching this drama was pretty much like watching a mild "horror" show, cause the ghosts/spirits seriously look REALLY freaky and what's more i was catching up on the episodes at night -.- (well, i'm not a big fan of horror flicks). But as the show progress, the ghosts started looking less horrid and it got more fun and interesting to watch. Especially the connection between the main leads and supporting leads. Right.. and i just have to mention this.. The clean shaven and slim So Ji Sub looks so charmingly hot here! Hahaha!!

Well, i'm not gonna dig too much into it and spoil the excitement! Watch it and you will understand.
It's really a kdrama worth watching! *promise* =)

BUT... Beware of the first few beginning episodes!! It can get a little shocking.
Don't say i didn't warn you! tehehehe

 . The Master's Sun OST .

enjoy.

Review.

This Kdrama made me tear like crazy till both my eyes had gone really puffy, ever since the first episode till the last! But i'm glad, it's a happy ending after all! That's what most of us would want right? X)

I had mixed emotions while watching "Missing You"! Well, it's kinda hard to explain how and why until you've watched the drama yourself and i guess you might feel the same way as i do!

I loved how the characters are in this drama, the way they acted the characters out were really amazing! Well, it's a melodrama so what do you expect? But of course, it's not sad all the way through. There are pretty cute and hilarious moments in and out of the show especially during the connection between Yoo Chun and Eun Hye! Love those moments of them together the most, cause it's just SO CUTE!! Well, not that the connection between Seung Ho and Eun Hye is bad too, it's good just a different type of effect cause Seung Ho is simply soooooo sweet until before he lets jealousy takes control but yet you still can't hate his character! Instead, it makes you feel really sorry and pitiful for him. Furthermore, he's quite a cutie! Haha!!

This is another awesome 2013 Kdrama i would recommend to watch if you haven't watched it yet!! (:
