Phyto Workshop Learning Experience

Heard of Phyto??

Well I honestly have not, until I went for Phyto's Workshop which was held at Hotel Rendezvous together with Mr Style King (http://mrstyleking.com) and Zerika Gan (http://zerika-says.blogspot.com)! It was definitely a very enriching workshop I would say, cause I've learnt quite a lot about my hair, scalp and how to refrain from getting hair loss! Besides that, we event got a chance to test some of the products out during the talk and also get our scalp checked to see if it's in a good or bad shape. How cool is that?

Before I carry on with the workshop I had, let's find out a little more of Phyto and what is it all about. Shall we?

About Phyto.

In Haute Provence, the lush countryside of Southern France, the most alluring plants grow. Local farmers, eager to pass along the robust harvest to those who can harness its magic, cultivate ingredients such as lavender, sage, rosemary, and juniper. It was nearly 50 years ago and in this fertile land that Mr. Patrick Ales, one of Paris’ legendary hair stylists, captured this magic and married his two passions: hair and plants.

A true visionary, Mr. Ales paved the way for botanical hair care long before the emergence of environmental awareness and “green” hair care trends. From 1956 to 1966, he released his first PHYTO products: Huile D’Ales, Phyto 7, Phytodefrisant, and Phytopolleine. In 1969, Mr. Ales presented PHYTO to the public along with the opening of the Patrick Ales Salon in Paris, sill open today, where his clients such as screen siren Catherine Deneuve and former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, became the beneficiaries of his new botanical hair care line. With fervor and passion, he developed a range of highly concentrated, plant-based solutions to reveal hair’s natural beauty. Phyto was born.

Ingredients Used in Phyto.

PHYTO continues to explore the world in search of the finest and most effective ingredients. In total, over 700 plants are found in our formulas, and you may notice that water is not the first ingredient listed in many products. The scientists at the Phytosolba Laboratories extract the most active molecules found in either the root, flower, bud, fruit, resin, or seeds. The manufacturing secret lies in the various extraction methods used, such as decoction and maceration. This process makes each product highly concentrated, and therefore very effective. We invite you to explore the many beautfiul ingredients found in our ingredient library.

*All botanical ingredients listed in turquoise on PHYTO's outside packaging are from natural origin*

What about Phyto's products?

PHYTO covers every hair care need from treatment and maintenance to color protection and styling. Our line is divided into specialized segments, such as color-treated, dry, volume and anti-frizz. PHYTO recommends alternating between segments in order to achieve best results.

PHYTO’s extensive range of treatments targets every scalp condition from dry, oily, itchy or flaky to lifeless and thinning hair. High concentrations of essential oils purify the scalp, stimulate microcirculation, and regulate sebum production to strengthen and rejuvenate hair. All PHYTO products are formulated to protect the delicate ecosystem that makes up the hair and scalp.

With the huge load of information above, you would more or less know a little more about Phyto now. So, let's get the ball rolling!

The workshop was given by ex-model Nora Tien, she definitely still looks stunning even though she's  happily married with 2 kids. During the workshop, Nina told me about her experiences she had from the time she was a kid to her modelling career and finally her life right now. It was pretty interesting to know how Phyto products works to help "heal".

Thanks to Nora for taking time to talk to us personally, teaching and telling us what to do with our hair and scalp! Also a big thank you to your team for guiding us along as well.

And so, our lovely saturday afternoon ended with a very productive talk, teaching us how to take care of our hair and scalp. Which of course, what's more important is the scalp and roots of our hair which needs to be healthy in order to have stunning beautiful hair!

Till then.
xoxo.
