Review.

Fashion, design and bags!
In almost every korean drama.. Well practically all of the korean drama there will always be a character you wish you could kill or a character that's just way too over pitiful that gets you so annoyed~

Family, love and betrayal this drama has almost these 3 elements in them. Betrayal to a fellow family and of course, not forgetting falling in love.

What draws me into the show are the design scenes and how Eun Jung Soo has to work her way up the "hard" way. Well, nobody said reaching one's dream is always easy! This story has a certain essence of reality of the world in it which allows audience to relate one way or another.

I wouldn't say it's the best story yet again, but neither is the story that bad either. Well, it's hard to say about the ending since it's still ongoing.. But let's guess shall we? It's definitely gonna be a happy ending for sure! =)

Synopsis.

A ghost romance story about Yang Si Ohn, a woman who is able to see spirits after waking up from a 6-year long coma and Cha Gun Woo, a man who only believes in solid evidence. The two detectives come to understand each other as they try to help the spirits attached to objects at a lost-and-found center rest in peace. But Si Ohn′s dead boyfriend, Lee Hyung Joon will appear as a spirit perfecting the supernatural romance. Hyung Joon was an elite member of the police force, but lost his life following an unfortunate accident. Featuring a love triangle between spirits and humans.

Review.

This drama is somewhat smiliar to "The Master's Sun" with the spirit/ghost seeing portion. Well, at least the ghosts/spirits here aren't as creepy and scary as the ones in "The Master's Sun". But of course, once in awhile those creepy eerie effects still creep me out but it's bearable. =)

I wouldn't say this drama has one of the best compared to the ones i've blogged and posted previously. The story basically revolves around the 3 main lead and their romance adding in some action, suspense scenes. But watching taeyeon, he can be quite a cutie in the drama! Enough to make you smile or sometimes... laugh. There's just a kind of beautiful romance mix with charisma that still manages to draw your attention and interest into the drama.

If you are curious to know what i mean, watch it! =)
It may not make you go totally DAMN, AWSOME SHOW but it's enough to make you go awwwww.. so sweet~

SPOILER ALERT!!

If you follow through the story to the end, it's actually really touching and kinda sad. I teared towards the last 2 episodes cause it's heartbreaking. Having the one you love thinking he's dead but in actual fact he's still alive and not awoken from coma. Only to see him once again but it turns into a goodbye forever. But fred not, it's definitely a drama with a happy ending!

Synopsis.

One night at a club, 15-year-old Clarissa "Clary" Fray witnesses an apparent murder by a strange teenager whom no one else can see, Jace Wayland. He tells her the victim was actually a disguised demon. The next day, after Clary sees Jace again, she returns home to find her mother Jocelyn Fray, missing and her apartment trashed and occupied by a monstrous creature (later labeled a Ravener demon). Clary defeats it but is injured.

Jace finds her and takes her to his home, "The Institute," an old Gothic cathedral that normal humans, called "mundanes" or "mundies" by the inhabitants, can't see, because it is concealed by a magic called 'glamour'. After recuperating, Clary meets Jace's tutor, Hodge Starkweather, and his adoptive siblings Isabelle Lightwood and Alec Lightwood. They are Shadowhunters, who hunt demons unbeknownst to and—except for Clary—unseen by the mundane world.

With the help of "Silent Brother" Jeremiah, a monk with magical powers, their investigation into why Clary can see them uncovers a block on her mind, keeping her memories sealed. She travels with Jace and Jeremiah to the City of Bones, where the Silent Brothers attempt to break it. Although the attempt fails, Clary gets flashes of information, particularly the name Magnus Bane. Tracing this name to a party, Clary and the Shadowhunter teens, along with her mundy best friend Simon, discover that Magnus is the High Warlock of Brooklyn, and he placed the block on Clary at the request of her mother, an ex-Shadowhunter. Every two years, Jocelyn had been sending Clary to Magnus to have her memories and Sight (ability to see what mundanes cannot) blocked, hoping to keep her safely in the dark about her true self so she could live a normal life. Magnus refuses to bring Clary's memories back, claiming it would be too difficult and dangerous, and they may return anyway, now that she knows the truth and the spell has begun to fade. During the party, Simon ignores Isabelle's warnings and consumes a drink, which was spiked, turning him into a rat. Simon is then kidnapped by the vampires.

Clary and Jace attempt to rescue Simon from the vampire coven who reside in the abandoned Hotel Dumort. In a fight for their lives, they are saved by werewolves. Clary and Jace escape, rescue Simon, and steal a motorcycle from the vampires. When Simon is returned to his human form, he and Clary share an intimate moment where they hug in relief for each other's safety, to Jace's dismay.

At the Institute, Clary and Alec confront each other in the hallway. Alec demands she return to her own world, fearing she is putting Jace in danger; Clary is more concerned that Alec is in love with Jace. Alec pins Clary against a wall and threatens her to keep his sexual orientation and affections secret, then, stunned at his own violent reaction, departs. That night, the eve of Clary's 16th birthday, she and Jace go for a midnight walk in the Institute's Garden and kiss. After Simon walks in on them, an argument culminates in Simon declaring that he has been in love with Clary for 10 years and only flirted with Isabelle in hopes of making Clary jealous. Later, Clary draws in her sketchbook to calm herself about the night's events, and suddenly realizes where the Mortal Cup is. When the teens go to retrieve it, they are attacked by a Greater Demon and Alec is gravely injured. Eventually, Simon saves them all, and they successfully bring the Mortal Cup to the Institute, where Magnus Bane keeps Alec from dying.

When Clary and Jace give the Mortal Cup to Hodge, he reveals he's working for a man named Valentine Morgenstern, who was thought to be dead. Valentine kidnaps Jace, and Clary goes after the fleeing Hodge but is knocked unconscious. When Clary wakes up, her mother's best friend, Luke Garroway, reveals himself as a werewolf and says that Valentine is her father. Luke and his werewolf pack raid Valentine's lair, but they are ambushed, although Luke and Clary make it inside. While Luke is distracted, Clary finds Jace and Valentine, who tells them that he is Jace's biological father as well, making them siblings; the teens, who are in love, are horrified by this revelation. Luke then returns to fight Valentine, but although Jace helps, Valentine escapes to the Shadowhunter capital, Idris, where he has hidden the Mortal Cup, one of three Mortal Instruments given to the first Shadowhunter by the angel Raziel. If Valentine acquires the 3 Instruments, he will be able to create an army of Shadowhunters.

Clary finds her mother in a coma caused by a potion and takes her to a hospital. Back at the Institute, Alec, healed by Magnus, agrees with Clary to start fresh. Clary encourages Jace to see their mother, and although he has not fully forgiven Jocelyn for leaving him, he agrees and they ride to the city on the stolen motorcycle.

Review.

I've been waiting to catch this movie for the longest time ever since i saw the trailer! And finally, i manage to catch it with the family and D!

This movie isn't much of a movie which a guy would enjoy or rather appreciate but girls would. Especially if you're a huge fan of Twilight or ever loved the movie! "The Mortal Instruments" is pretty much similar to Twilight except instead of vampires falling for humans, it's the battle between shadow hunters, demons and werewolves.

I've always enjoyed watching movies or shows on the supernatural and fantasy. And i've got to say, i did enjoyed the movie to a certain extend. I have to admit that there were certain portions that were pretty confusing. The best way of finding out what the actual story is like, is to get the novel. A movie isn't able to portray the whole novel out or else the movie would be running for 5 days straight non-stop! Haha!

To you guys who aren't much of a fan to "Twilight", i would suggest downloading the movie and watching it from home!

Review.

This Kdrama made me tear like crazy till both my eyes had gone really puffy, ever since the first episode till the last! But i'm glad, it's a happy ending after all! That's what most of us would want right? X)

I had mixed emotions while watching "Missing You"! Well, it's kinda hard to explain how and why until you've watched the drama yourself and i guess you might feel the same way as i do!

I loved how the characters are in this drama, the way they acted the characters out were really amazing! Well, it's a melodrama so what do you expect? But of course, it's not sad all the way through. There are pretty cute and hilarious moments in and out of the show especially during the connection between Yoo Chun and Eun Hye! Love those moments of them together the most, cause it's just SO CUTE!! Well, not that the connection between Seung Ho and Eun Hye is bad too, it's good just a different type of effect cause Seung Ho is simply soooooo sweet until before he lets jealousy takes control but yet you still can't hate his character! Instead, it makes you feel really sorry and pitiful for him. Furthermore, he's quite a cutie! Haha!!

This is another awesome 2013 Kdrama i would recommend to watch if you haven't watched it yet!! (:

Review.

This kdrama got me really addicted and as usual i couldn't stop watching episode after episode until i've completed the whole drama. Not just the fact that Lee Jong Suk is such a cutie, i also enjoyed how the movie went. It keeps you on your toes during those really intense moments and catches you off guard (a little). This kdrama is not only touching and cute but really warm to the heart (at least it was to mine, cause there were scenes which i couldn't stop tearing. i know~ i'm being all emotional and drama). What's more? It's what everyone of us would love.. A HAPPY ENDING! (:

Beautiful Creatures

Movie Review ♥

It's the weekends all over again and to end my Sunday, I had a movie date with my dad instead of D. It's been awhile since i've been to the cinema's with my dad to catch a movie, we use to do that pretty often in the past. Watching all sorts of movies, and usually they are the ones i've been wanting to catch! Hurhur. So loved right? I know ♥

I've been wanting to catch "Beautiful Creatures" for the longest time ever! (Yes, I realize I do say this often. What to do, when i'm such a movie junkie. I'm a total huge movie lover, practically every show i would wanna watch of course minus horror flicks! haha). D was suppose to catch it with me, but we never had the chance too, so i ended catching it with Dad instead. *happiness*

Synopsis ♥

Directed by
Richard LaGravenese

Produced by
Andrew A. Kosove
Broderick Johnson
Erwin Stoff
David Valdes

Genre:
Drama, Fantasy, Romance

Ethan longs to escape his small Southern town. He meets a mysterious new girl, Lena. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town.

SPOILER ALERT!!

In Gatlin, South Carolina, Ethan Wate awakens from a recurring dream of a girl he doesn't know. In narration, he describes his enjoyment of reading banned books, his despair of his small-town existence and his dreams of leaving for college. Arriving for his first day of junior year, Ethan notices newcomer Lena Duchannes, who resembles the girl he has been dreaming about. The other students do not take kindly to her and spread gossip regarding her reclusive uncle, Macon Ravenwood, and her family being devil worshippers. Overhearing these whispers, Lena tenses and the classroom windows shatter, amplifying the fears and suspicions of the class and the townspeople at large that she is a witch.

On a drive home, Ethan nearly runs over Lena, whose car has broken down. He gives her a ride home and the two bond over their shared love of poetry and having both lost their mothers. Ethan drops Lena off but later finds a locket and returns to the mansion to give it to her as a present. The touch of the locket triggers a shared flashback to the Civil War, after which he awakens at his home. Macon disapproves of their growing romance and conspires with Ethan's family friend, Amma, to keep the two separated but Ethan persists and Lena confesses that she and her family are "casters", capable of performing a variety of magical spells such as changing the weather and illusion casting. On her 16th birthday, Lena's true nature will steer her towards either the light or the dark and Lena fears being consumed by evil and hurting those she loves. Ethan insists she is responsible for her own choices and that regardless of her insecurities she is a good person.

Matters are complicated by the arrival of two immensely powerful dark casters who aim to push Lena to the dark: Ridley, Lena's provocative cousin/childhood friend and Sarafine, Lena's mother, who has possessed Mrs. Lincoln, the mother of Ethan's friend Link. and foresees Lena becoming a more powerful caster than her. Lena and Ethan use the locket to re-experience the flashback in its entirety and it reveals their ancestors, caster Genevieve Duchannes and mortal Confederate soldier Ethan Carter were in love. Ethan was shot in battle and Genevieve revived him using a forbidden spell that caused her to go dark and curse the women of the Duchannes family line. They consult with Amma, who is in fact a seer/keeper of a caster library beneath the town library. The most ancient of these books, the Book of Moons, reveals the secret to undoing the curse: one of Lena's loved ones has to die to sacrifice the curse. Unwilling to take Ethan's life, Lena instead erases his memories of their time together.

Ridley seduces and enchants Link and gives him a bullet to use in an upcoming Civil War reenactment of the Battle of Honey Hill taking place on Lena's birthday. During the reenactment, Link and Ethan agree to "kill" each-other so they can ditch the reenactment. While at the ceremony for her 16th birthday, Lena feels the shock of the curse being broken and runs off to Ethan, clutching his dying body as Ridley and Sarafine egg her on to give in to her grief and accept the dark willingly. Lena lashes out in anger, sending lightning strikes through the crowd reenactors until Ethan transforms into Macon, having previously disguised himself as Ethan to become the sacrifice needed to break the curse. His dying words are for Lena to "Claim yourself" and she causes the moon to disappear, stopping it from claiming her for the dark. Lena allows Ridley to flee and pulls Sarafine from Mrs. Lincoln's body, defeating her.

Months later, a still-amnesiac Ethan stops by the library to visit Amma before leaving for a college campus tour with Link and apologizes to Lena for not having gotten to know her during their time in Gatlin. Lena is then seen in the caster library, where it is revealed she's been half-claimed for the dark side. Meanwhile, just after Link drives past the town line, Ethan recalls their memories together and gets out of the car to yell Lena's name. Lena hears and the screen cuts to black.

Living in Darkness, Living in Light?
Which one are you?
OR
Have you been claimed?

I've always enjoyed watching supernatural shows/movies. Of course, not the horror ones but romance. You've vampires and Zombies falling in love with humans, what more are witches or spell casters falling in love with humans?

I did enjoyed the movie, but i wouldn't say i loved it. It was enjoyable to watch, with some laughs and awwws here and there but i wouldn't rate it as the best. It's pretty much a high school flick where you more or less could tell how's the ending would be. May be with just a little twist towards the end, for this movie.

Overall, it's a pretty cool movie to catch with your other half. Especially during the lovey dovey moments.

Well,
Morale of the story:
Love conquers all.
It doesn't matter what kind of love, but as long as you love.
All things are made possible.
(that's my view/opinion about the movie)

Do you believe in LOVE?
