Why Me-In?

Inspired by the "IT Girl", Me-In is borne from the desire to serve modern pragmatic women, therefore it helps modern women to achieve being aptly dressed for diverse circumstances and situations with whatever that may be. Shopping in Me-In is going to be a head-to-toe experience which is unique in it's own way!

 Hyejin KIM 

Creative Director 

Hyejin Kim has worked in the Korean online shopping mall industry for the past nine years. Her experience coincides with the initial rise in popularity of online shopping in Korea during the early 2000’s. During this period, Hyejin has worked as a freelance model with many of the largest and most popular Korean online brands. She has also worked as an assistant casting 

director for several popular Korean commercials. Finally, early in her career, Hyejin worked 

as an assistant stylist at one of the first Korean online shopping malls, where she learned 

 Song-yee GIL 

Stylist 

Song-yee Gil has six years of experience. Before her current role as Fashion Director at Me-In, she was a celebrity stylist in charge of the image for popular Korean actor, Ji-hoon Ju. She has previously worked in the online retail space including Eranzi, where she developed a Korean brand image targeted at Malaysian customers. In addition, Song-yee has significant experience working as a pioneer employee at a successful outlet, A-Round in the wholesale market

Away with the "stuffy" office look..

Classic colors that offsets what would traditionally be considered a design that is too informal for the Korean workplace, while accompanying it with a jacket of modern cut adds a degree of sophistication. To tone down further, you can choose to match it with a pair of conservative pumps.

Look great without trying..

A common fashion that is overly focus on your primary attire (e.g: tops & bottoms), often resulting in the "trying too hard" vibe.

Mix and matching is the rage in Korea..

Items that don't always go together and creating a new and interesting look that expresses your a person's own individuality. The mix and matching techniques of Korea's "fashionastas", a group of well-dressed celebrities whose "street fashion" is at the cutting edge of the new Korean chic.

A stylish person tends to take a step further and show their creativity through textures. With unbalanced designs showing up in an array of different popular looks, the skirt is an example of how unbalanced detail can add a special touch to what is an otherwise ordinary miniskirt.

Korean ladies would definitely skew towards the feminine look. Classic design such as the white collar shirt is a tried and true way of looking both sweet and sophisticated. For a girly route, top it off with a cute flower print skirt when going on a special date. The perfect outfit along with accessories like rings and bracelets to complete a truly feminine outfit.

Spring is in the air..

Yellow the colour at the moment. A warm, vibrant colour is just the thing to make a lovely impression. Even in Singapore without the traditional 4 seasons, having korean styles in your wardrobe as they change throughout the year can be pretty fun.

Men and dress..?

A dress that brings out the best of your lines, a definite must to had. Adding a classy touch, like wearing a jacket over the dress can unveil to add an exclamation point to your evening.

Finally, the day which everyone has been looking forward too after hearing getting to know a little more about Me-In. Time to meet the models in person! Whoo~hooo~

The bf was suppose to attend the event with me but due to some last min changes, guess who came instead as my partner for the evening?

What's in? It's #Dismerc13!!

Fashion ♥

What have I been up too..? That i've been blogging lesser these days! Dear ohh me has been getting a little busy recently with a couple of ongoing stuffs and one of them is a fashion shoot! I've missed freelancing so much and i'm so glad to be "back-in-action" every now and then!

Well, that isn't the best part of it all! Guess who else was at the shoot with me? Dang dang dang dang... It's none other then fashion vlogger, luinfaniel! =) Thanks to her, i got to be part of this amazing photoshoot with a really fun team of people! BIG thanks to the Dismerc team too! =)

To a pretty great start on a wet Saturday morning, which turned really hot and humid after the rain stopped. For a kick start, I just had to take a photo of luinfaniel's wide range of lipstick! I as a female/girl don't own that amount and variety of lipsticks! O.O

Well, knowing me.. if you guys have been following my posts (especially on Instagram). I'm an awesome photo spammer every once in awhile. Haha! I can spam photos like crazy and here's a photo of us inside our transport as we head off to our second location!

This is my first coming to this place and i really love this location the most!

Not because it's the final location.. but it's a really great place for photoshoots!

Noel Caleb's Model Search 2013

Alright, so here goes..

I attended the previous fashion showcase a couple of months back this year, during Noel Caleb's first fashion runway. Well, I wasn't one of their models then but a couple of my friends were. Basically, i missed the first round of casting due to my full-time job. 

My friends were having heaps of fun, and it seems like a really interesting experience which I've missed out on previously. So now, Noel Caleb's having their very own model search once again! This time, I made up my mind to be part of it and give it a try! (:

And so, I attended Noel's Caleb's model search for this session at The CO. It was really fun and I made a couple of new friends once again! Well, my side kick was suppose to come along with me, thus I wasn't able to snap that many photos this time round. Do pardon me for it. I'll try to snap more, the next time round! 

Besides making lovely friends that night, it was an honour to be coached by Miss Jamie Lim, New Paper New Face 2011! She's really stunning, tall, slim and really nice and friendly! I'm somewhere in the photo too, watching the others as they did their catwalk and photoshoot. Spot me if you can! (:

After my short little introduction, it's fun huh? But that's not all! Noel Caleb is having another round of model search this coming 4th of June at The Co, 75 High Street once again! This upcoming fashion show will be held on the 29th of June 2013, featuring not just Noel Caleb but 9 other asia's hottest fashion labels! If you think you're up for a challenge and an amazing experience of a pretty much lifetime, DONT GIVE IT A MISS! Guys and girls are welcome to participate! Come on down with makeup, wear those heels and let's get the fun started!! =D

Girls like being pretty and looking good right? I admit, i'm vain and I really love and enjoying dressing up! Of course, besides looking good and dressing up, your nails compliments your whole outlook as well! And since the Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day is approaching and they are back-to-back this year, why not get my nails done? OH! There's another reason why I wanted my nails done too. February is definitely a month of happiness and joy! I was invited to my bosses' wedding too! That's another plus point why I wanted my nails done. >.-

I dropped Serene a line a week before my bosses wedding and made an appointment the night before to get my nails done. After finding out, she's out on her own freelancing as a manicurist. Why not? Since I do intend to get my nails done after all and have not decided where. And that's where it all started..

P/S: Of course how could I ever forget my buddy, Zerika!! We both always get our girly stuffs done together. And so, we both got our nails done at Niu Nails! ♥

That night, Zerika and I met after work before heading down to Serene's place together. I got a little stuck at work and thus we ended reaching Serene's place close to 8pm. It was a fun and enjoyable experience getting my nails done by a friend! I chose to do gelish nails, cause my nails tend to break pretty easily and gel nails help "toughen" your nails a little.

With the advancement of the internet, computers and mobile phones. It becomes a convent access of communication. Honestly, I still do some some letters from secondary school in my treasure box! They are really lovely memories, though reading them again you may sometimes forget what in the world you were talking about yet it still gives you that feeling of sweetness. Furthermore, sincerity can't be felt through electronic devices they only give out monotonous emotions. Handwritten letter or even telling a person over the phone has more sincerity and emotions. Won't you agree with me?

Saint Valentine's Day, commonly known as Valentine's Day, or the Feast of Saint Valentine,[4] is observed on February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many countries around the world, although it remains a working day in most of them. It is the second most celebrated holiday around the world second to New Year's Day.

St. Valentine's Day began as a liturgical celebration of one or more early Christian saints named Valentinus. The most popularmartyrology associated with Saint Valentine was that he was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, who were persecuted under the Roman Empire; during his imprisonment, he is said to have healed the daughter of his jailer Asterius. Legend states that before his execution he wrote "from your Valentine" as a farewell to her. Today, Saint Valentine's Day is an official feast day in the Anglican Communion, as well as in theLutheran Church. ARALDI1930: Hand Made in Italy Launch

It was nice seeing familiar faces at the event. You must be wondering, it's a guy's fashion what are we girls doing there right? I've always loved fashion, especially fashion shows since young. Watching models sashay down the walkway elegantly. It was once a dream to be there, walking down that walkway with beautifully designed one-of-a-kind designer labels. That was WHEN I was a kid. Times changes as you get older. Alright, I side tracked a little. Ha!

Attended the Araldi 1930 launch with my buddy, Zerika. We were pretty late, but thank goodness we made it in time and didn't miss much! At least, we manage to catch the best parts.

Before I carry on, here's a short introduction about ARALDI 1930.

Fashion show time! We made it just in time before the fashion show started. Models came cat-walking out from the shop after the pretty "grand" opening, where everyone got to see the shop for the very first time! (Before that, It was covered with a black cloth).
